Default Sea Wolves add on disk

Anyone else have this?

If so, have you noticed that sometimes the monthly report sheet that you see waiting for your next mission to start gets frozen, and stops doesn't change?

Anyone know of any other problems?

Throw your sea wolves disk in the trash and download GWX instead.

This will be in the form of a polite request... for now.

Al has asked a legitimate question about a product he has paid money for and wishes to enjoy.

If you can help Al with his problem then by all means do. If you cannot it is my considered opinion that you should put your hands by your sides and step away from the keyboard.

Unfortunately Al, I don't own the Seawolves disk so I can't advise you, but hopefully someone in this very helpful, community will pop up .

And I certainly wasn't singling you, or anyone, out.

I wish I could have got to the thread as the second post but I was too late.

I just don't want another thread about Seawolves that turns into the same old same old.

Thanks

Ok, I'll bite. What's GWX, and where would I find it.

Still, I like the added ports that Sea Wolves added.

Can't help you on SW but see this link for GWX:

Don't forget to review the manual. It is important.

Hi AL,
You can d/l GWX by clicking on the link at the bottom of my sig. You will need to D/l all the Bin files + the exe and the 23rd correction patch as well.
If like the added ports that SW gave you, you will love GWX its added much much more than SW. GWX is league of its own.
If GWX is not for your the are a few other supermods which are available for free. UBWAC and NYGM.
I hope this helps

Al, Things evolve and SW-Med, while doing some new things at the time, has been greatly surpassed by the latest GWX. This is typical in flight and naval sims evolving forward all the time making a recent add on obsolete and then something outdoing that.
Progress it is and that is good for us all.
However, while I suggest you download and install GWX before you uninstall SW-Med make a copy to an outside folder of the entire data folder.
Why?
Because there are many fine models available in SW-Med you can not get anywhere else and since many ships are randomly generated by type these will show up in the GWX just fine.
Once you have that copy safe to copy from of SW-Med data, you can place them in the new install of GWX.
The most worthwhile ships are
3 Frigates (sloops) Grimsby, Egret and Bittern
Hunt DE (DE types not well represented so this adds variety to type 3 selection)
Many new British, Italian, Russian and Spanish DDs
2 Italian light cruisers
One American Heavy cruiser
New British light cruisers particularly the important Arethusa class
New armed trawler.
Extra various merchant classes
Once you get and install GWX you can ask here about how to add the SW-Med ships or PM me and I will walk you through it. It is not hard with very little help needed.
Many here have a dislike for SW-Med but since I beta tested it and advised the devs I feel I can say GWX is the best thing to date for SH3 so why not get it???
However, GWX with all those extra SW-Med ships is even better so you haven’t lost in having them. I feel my GWX is much better with those SW-Med additions included.

I didnt use it for long as discovered here and GW1.1

Funny actually yesteday I reinstalled UBITM
Was sent a link that had some ships for D\L :hmm:

Welcome aboard Al
I'll make no comments re:SW
My advice would be to get GWX
