So how do you load the external torpedo reserves? I feel stupid but I seriously cant figure it out. The crew doesnt automatically reload them like the others, and manually dragging the torpedo to one of the empty stern or bow tubes does nothing. thanks all

Hi mate! Welcome, BTW! Make sure you are not in silent running, and that you have enough well rested crew available. Then it should just be to drag & drop the torp in the free slot.
![]() ![]() EDIT: And you have to be on the surface....(duhh... ![]() Ahh..BBW just mentioned it!

And make sure you are surfaced
If the torps are greyed out then you are still under water and cant reload When you surface they become coloured again and available for loading |

For the short lived times I actually had a VIIB with external fish I belive the only way to load them was surfaced, calm water. You have to click on the selected fish and drg it into the "Reserve" slot first, then the crew will load it into the tube.

Get a strong torpedo officer in there to help load. The lesser crew members tend to sit around and on nothing when the officers are not present

Hey thanks guys
![]() I think I was doing everything right, the problem was I'll bet the water on the surface was too rough, I'll try it again in calm waters and see how it goes. Thanks! |
