Complain About LWAMI 3.02 Here!
My turn first.
No AsuW capable SLAM-ER and the stupid helos 1) crash too much 2) my MH60 sometimes decides he has something better to do than follow my orders 3) the freaking things ping while moving sometimes. Ok, I'll fix these. Anything else? Cheers, David PS Finishing LWAMI 3.xx is a separate project from LWAMI 4.xx so we are thinking incremental improvements (or stuff I've already done for 4.xx that could easily be incorporated into 3.xx)and bug fixing. PPS One more thing, the Hellfires carried by the MH60 need to be upgraded to the latest version with fire and forget capability, which would allow the MH60 to salvo it's hellfires, therefor making them useful for more than sinking a Sunfish.

No complaints really, not even the helo is / will be something to complain about anymore. ![]() Well, we didn’t fix the helo, but sure as heck worked around it in 3.02. ![]() We even threw in ‘buoy drops’ by AI helos, well the seahawk for starters, but all that stuff can be done in scripting, basically. Currently working on sonar operators reporting the presence of buoys in the water to human players, kind of like they did in HFRO. The helo workaround seems to be holding up very well - I can't get him to crash. :p He’ll fly CAP, drop buoys during peacetime and all that good jazz, but if ROE is toggled due to an attack, the helo will resort to more aggressive search ‘dipping’ and engage confirmed hostile contacts at free will if any are detected. He will even return to base before bingo fuel, re-arm and refuel and take off again. The point is we can keep him in the air and doing his job all in the same time. And for some time now, I’ve been asking your feedback on our project, because after all we are making a commitment out of free will to make maps intended for your mod. So we would appreciate some sort of feedback, of some kind, sometime in the near future. The most recent update took place on 11-12-06, and this isn’t some mod or add-on or anything of that nature, just another map made for both MP and SP. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=92394 So far we’ve done our best to make sure it will be in compliance with LWAMI and would like to think of the criteria as a new standard for anything else to come from us in the future. It’s long overdue for revision because of so many changes and additions, but in due time. Thanks |

No bug, just sugestion .. DSRV doctrine .. it sux. DSRV does not even have a sensor reading depth. Upcoming Hunt for the Red October campaign from Subguru would need and since it's gonna be DB+doctrine change, it should be part of LWAMI.

@suBB, I assume you are talking about mission scripting. DW is a dance between doctrines, database, and mission scripts of course.
![]() I'll look closely at your work to see if there is anything I can take to the doctrine level, in addition to a few "no brainer" solutions I should have done earlier like raising the dipping altitude to 100ft, lowering the search transit speed to something like maxspd * 0.75, and raising the search transit altitude to 300ft or so. @Dr. Sid There are some things in DW that are simply broke like RBU's and the UAV and I include the DSRV in that catagory. Those are all definately "on my list" for LWAMI 4.xx Thanks guys all for your comments. I guess I should be very happy that with the number of views this forum gets these days that people are roasting me over one bug or another. I'm proud I can say this mod was built in the USA and made with Polish parts. ![]() The reason it's important for me to get another version of 3.03 out now, a Final version of LWAMI 3.xx is because LWAMI 3.xx will be ***incompatible*** with DW 1.04, it won't work at all. I will have to do some conversion of the database for the patched version of the game, as well as redo a number of features to account for substantial changes in under the hood mechanics in the game. So, I figure it'd be nice to make a "final" complete version of the mod for you guys. This has the double advantage of giving me some much needed practice [cracks knuckles] since its been a few months since I've worked on DW. Thanks guys! Cheers, David

Can you fix the UUV being 10 degrees less than ordered bearing?
I order 090 heading and it goes at 080. I think this affects regular torps too. |

Nope, I cannot fix this, it is in the interface.
As far as I remember, it does NOT affect wireguided torpedoes. Cheers, David
