 , im presently in the middle of the Atlantic and fancy a trip to Halifax in Canada, has anyone else been there?

If you really have your heart set on going to Halifax then I suggest you pack your thermal underclothing as it gets Brr ! there.

Halifax is a bit tricky.
It's shallow, and I've found lots of air patrols trying to get to Halifax, but I've done very well going up into the St. Lawrence early in the war, just keep some water under your keel. Argentia Bay was a major convoy staging base from 1941.
