Default Freeware subsim

There was a thread here a while ago about a freeware subsim under development, but there is a beta release. The screenshots are amazing, the sim quality is maybe even better than SH3.

Problem is I can't find the thread or link, anyone got this link or knows more about it?

Here it is:

http://dangerdeep.sourceforge.net/

It certainly looks promising!

Haven't tried it myself - still learing SH3 - let us know how you get on with it.

Thanks

I can't believe this is freeware, look at those beautiful ship models, details, gauges and so on!

Actually it's much more than just "freeware", it's open source/free software. That means all code source, graphics, sound, etc... are publicly accessible and modifiable. It enables any developer/modder to change anything in the game! No more limitation, the possibilities are endless.
Let's hope it will grow and mature to become the reference in sub sim.

The screens look really good. Looks like a very good piece of work. Worth keeping an eye on me thinks.

When this project is finally finished it's gonna be better than even SH3 with GWX, I think..
