Gutten tag! New one at the deck!

got this game just last week and must I say it catched me like no other for long time....

last time I played sub sim was 688 like 10 years ago and was never really into sub sims but rather the one sinking them (IL2 series Virtual Eastern Front multiplay battle-hardned).

Last time I read a book related to subs was maybe 15 years ago Wolfgang Otto submarine novell "Sharks& little fish" and Fall of PQ17 Convoy, now Im about to reread those and get bunch of others too.

So hello to everyone and thanks for great forums that has so many stuff to study for a newbie. (My 10th patrol, encoutering first convoy, destroyers hunts for me and depth under keel is only 40 meters!)
HAPPY HUNTING
and dont forget to :

eh couple of newbie questions:

Will all the missions will be "patrol sector" style? Is it historicaly accurate?

And will I be able to attend later on some wolf pack attacks?

The missions to the patrol sector are there to give you some sence of direction to the war. SH3 unfortunatelly doesn't support wolfpacks. You have to try the multiplayer games for that

If you want multiplayer games try Wolves at War http://www.wolvesatwar.org/

I haven't try it but I've heard it's very good.

thanks for the link but it seems to hardcore simming to me.
I dont have that 1. patience 2. nerves & 3. math and calculation skills for 100 percent realism settings.

BTW: You aren't the former donots76...? I just get nervous seeing someone with a name, followed by big letters, IE: CarismaXL & AirborneCZ or donots761976..... paranoid, maybe..

Manual plotting always seemed to be daunting until I learned it. It's really a breeze. High school math class is harder.

Oh and welcome.
