Default Subsim Christmas gift for the DEVS: Underway!

Hi Guys,

The DEVS work in Bucharest, Romania. How about the SUBSIM SH4 Forum sending them a case of SUBSIM SH4 Pacific Theatre mugs as a thank you for their efforts?

Neal could arrange a way for us to make donations to the gift fund, and this would be a nice Holiday Season gift for the DEVS.

What do you Guys think?

Terry

I'd chip in, but my good damn years, don't allow me to own a credit card. Just wait till March, then I'd be more then glad

Wouldn't the devs already be up to their ears in SH4 swag?

Actually, I think this is a really good idea. Would be a nice way of showing we actually really value and encourage what they're doing. No doubt it would be a surprise for them to receive something other than a raft of 'helpful suggestions'!

Never underestimate the value of showing appreciation, even in a simple way.....

Questions from dev team on the cup re-posted here:
  • When will they be released?
  • When will they be released?
  • When will they be released?
  • When will they be released?
  • When will they be released?
  • When will they be released?
  • When will they be released?
  • When will they be released?
  • When will they be released?
  • When will they be released?
  • How much of each cup will be given to the developers, and how much will be given to the publishers? What's the cut?
  • Will it be rushed? If so, are you planning to patch to fix holes?
  • Will there be an SDK (Soft-drink Development Tool-Kit)?
  • Will they be compatible with my hard-desk?
  • If I drop one over my desk, will there be a crash to desktop?
:p

Heh, wish I could contribute, but I don't have a credit card of Pay-Pal account or anything. Or for that matter money.

The mugs are protected by anti pour software which protects them from being 'chipped'. Sadly, the ani pour software reduces the speed at which liquid can be poured into the mug and may on rare ocassions produce handle malfunctions.
Boycott Starbucks:rotfl:!
