GW and crew promotions...

or shall i say: lack of.

i think i have recieved only 1 promotion for my crewmembers so far. I'm 12 patrols in and have sunk ~600,000 tons. Nearly everyone on board has the experience required for a promotion...

but i never recieve any for them.

anyone else notice this?

Crew promotion and experience values in the GW basic cfg remain unmodded from stock SH3 1.4b.

Just a shot in the dark mind...no offence meant

...But is it possible you are at the beginning of the war and the majority of ships you are sinking may be 'neutrals' ?

I only ask this because a friend of mine had a similar prob a while back until he realised he wasn't identifying the ships properly before firing. :hmm:

i rarely ever sink neutrals.

i think i figured out why. looking at my crew in SH3 Commander they are all at their highest ranks already.

i think i musta porked it when playing around with that tool for the first time.
