How Do I Get an HP Counter?
I am just new to the game and just started playing Cold Waters this December. The only problem I've faced so far in the game is that enemy ship endurances are kinda random. On one mission, I've one hit an Udaloi with a Missile but in the mission where the Udaloi escorted amphibious ships, it took 2-3 hits for it to sink. Any idea if the enemy ship endurances are random or by mission?
Note. I like Cold Waters because of the thrill and the accuracy of the game. Good Job Killerfish Games. |

It might depend on where the missile hit. Also, Udaloys have CIWS, are you sure all three missiles hit the target?

Their is some dependency on the level of play. I never shoot missile(s) at a CWIS-capable warship. I don't even bother carrying Harpoons, I just carry 6-8 TASM missiles for after I take out the escorts. If I could carry more Harpoons in the same space as TASMs, I would consider it. TASMs may be more expensive to the taxpayer, but...

Yeah Delgard's got the right tactics. Udoloy or any warship with CWIS get a torpedo. Once they're gone (assuming they're escorting a landing force) you just harpoon/TASM the rest. Also its just about the only safe time to use a radar sweep.
