Editing Weapons Loudouts
Folks, forgive me if this is stupid but I really want to get into this editing business. Is there a way to edit the loadouts on both controllable/non-controllable subs? The reason I ask is that I am using the RA mod to create some 70's-based scenarios and I just want to restrict the loadouts to that era or as near as I can get to it, i.e. no Shkvals etc.
I have looked the in scenario files and couldn't see any parameters. Many thanks Kipper Last edited by kipper; 09-20-09 at 10:13 AM. |

You can only edit aircraft loadouts in the scenario editior, and that feature doesn't really work reliably. Your best bet is to create a modified database appropriate to the time period you want to play in.

Thanks a million. Would you be able to point me anywhere that would have some knowhow on how to get started?
EDIT: Got DWEdit but no deal alas - it does not see the RA database as a valid 1.04 Kipper Last edited by kipper; 09-20-09 at 10:34 AM. |

The RA database is locked, so you won't get any chance to mod it.
Other alternatives are the Alfa Tau 3 mod and the Lwami mod. Both of these don't have locked databases. |

Ha! I didn't even realize DBs could be locked!

Many thanks for your pointers. Alas RA is the one with the drivable 70s subs
Thanks again K |
