WWII Torpedo Question
I understand about the targeting, gyroscopes, etc. My question is how were the target changes fed to the torpedo prior to firing. Was there an physical connection to the torpedo once it was sealed in the tube that allowed changes to be made instantly ? Wire connection?
Thanks, Gordon |

Mechanical spindles. Depending on the torpedo type, submarine, etc there were about 3 or 4 such spindles that entere the torpedo and set the right data.
