Default Sub Tender Challenge.

I came up with the idea,, but have no idea how to do it,, it's way above my pay grade I can fix them but can't build them,, this would be great in the Pt campaign,, I was PT-ing in the Solomons and was resupplying from a ship in Tulugi though I had to travel there on unlimited fuel from Australia.

yeah, it's possible. i've done it.
create a base, wherever you need it, place a docked freighter there, define the effective dates and BINGO, you have a sub tender and a repair/replenish base in-country.
it takes approx 15 mins.

good luck!

Can it that be done in a campaign ???? I never had any luck creating a Base I don't even know if I seen a thread how to do so ,, having some secret bases around the Philippines would really doll up the PT Campaign have to look up the history of PT- Bases in the Pacific.

i'll tell you what: you reply with your mod-set (use JSGME feature tasks-export-to-clipboard) and tell me where you want your secret bases and what date ranges you want them active and i'll custom-build you a mini-mod that you can apply to your mod-set.

Thank you that's mighty nice of you,, I'll have to get the PT out and see what the gas mileage is one way,,coming from the west port of Fremantle Australia I barely make it half way up the continent. I went and copied a list of bases,, I don't expect all I've thinned out stuff that would be a waste of space here. I'll have to get back with you on fuel mileage.and with some dates. and thank you again

The campaign for the new/old PT-109 ,it is what I believe is the TMO campaign structure,,starting in Dec 7 1941 with all flotillas with start points at specific day month and year well into 1944,, Torps work,, 20mm work and the 50 cal I regret I couldn't get the 40 to work as deck gun

that's quite a list. it may take me some time to do all of those. how about if we do it in stages.
1. Philippines to Perth
2. Guadalcanal/Solomons

and see where that leaves us.

as far as your PT deck guns is concerned, why not lash a 3 inch-50 on the front deck and pretend it is an Army 37mm...just like Ol' Jack Kannady? (boston pronunciation)
