I apologize for starting this topic again but i don't know what to do.When I bought the game everything was working fine. Then I haven't played it for a couple of months, and now I saw all these great mods so I decided to install it again.I reinstalled my windows Vista(fresh install),installed SP2,graphic drivers,Skype,Opera,Xfire,Avast,Comodo firewall and finally SH5.The problem was when I tried to lunch it.This message showed up:"An Internet connection is required to play this game.Failed to connect to Ubisoft master servers. Please verify that you Internet connection is functional and try again."My connection is functional so I thought It must be Comodo or Avast.I've tried uninstalling them and turning off Windows Firewall but again the same problem. My computer is connected to the router.I've tried in the safe mode but no go.I'm out of ideas what is causing this.Maybe Ubi server is down?

Depending on your service provider, and your router make?
You may need to do a port forwarding in the router or contact your ISP to see if they are doing some type of blocking. I use a highly modified WRT54G and RoadRunner and have no problems connecting when I want to. ![]() |
