Iran has the technology to develop satellites and would soon send a communication satellite into the orbit, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said, official IRNA news agency reported on Sunday.

"Iran has obtained the technology to build satellites and will use its know-how to launch its first remote sensing telecommunication satellite into space," the president told a gathering in the central Iranian province of Arak on Saturday....

Perhaps the Iranians will launch one of Subman's faster than light spaceships because they read about the technology in an internet forum....
:rotfl:

Then they will found new Mecca (like in Riddick).

And hopefully get stuck there! :p At least the trouble makers of their country that is! I'm fairly certain the normal Iranian doesn't sign on to their whacked out presidents ideas.
