GMX 2.0 bug

i have saved game then loaded it later and was at 120ktns and 505m when i was on top of the water so i loaded it up again to see it happen from the the of the water down to 505m but at 9ktns i have pic but dont know how to upload it

Did you save the game while submerged or in contact with other vessels?

Ironically for a Sub sim, you are advised not to save while submerged or you can experience the Crash Dive of Doom. It's a long known bug that has been in SH3 since it's release.

This bug is often discussed, actually I think someone mentioned a way to alleviate this issue, Im not sure tho', you can try the search engine thingie and maybe find those past posts. Personally I have playing SH3 since its release for hundreds of man hours and almost always save submerged ( I laugh in the face of the "bug" gods) and have never had this issue occur. Usually I get the crew with gills syndrome ..where your watch crew is manning the bridge at depth.

If you cant reslove this issue just save often...and under different names not the same over and over. GL and hang in there!

not submerged or any contacts been doing a few hours on gmx but this has never happen before will start again for fresh has its only the start of war

Its to do with the windspeed settings in the SCR\LND\RND ( open in notepad )

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\GWX\data\Campaigns\Campaign

For some reason on this line

WindSpeed=4.000000

Changes to WindSpeed=0.000000

Resulting in the dive of doom

Change all 3 files to read the same ie = 4.000000 or =5.00000 etc and save
