Was wondering Having tried SH4 on vista, which promptly crashed."CTD" is there a patch to correct this.As with most games before the new windows there is NO support As i have heard Dx10 will work magic for this addictive program...

Running it on VISTA and no problems what so ever. CTD...hm. Have you installed the latest DirectX 9C, its actually on the DVD, you might have deselected it when installing. It could also be some other driver issues etc, tricky as we don't know your specs.

And SH4 does run on XP/VISTA offically.

One thing i did was to set it to "run as administrator". Seemed to help. YMMV.

Running on Vista since games release and have only had 2 CTDs. If you have a problem it is not Vista, or its not solely Vista.
