To me that looks like u are using low res settings...all the texture in this mod is Normal res...Or what do you mean really?

Its pretty hard to understand you at times as you seem to use a translator or something, no bad intent on my side, but its just hard to follow you at times.

I think he means the shine on the cap brim and gold band and stuff. I'm not seeing much reflectivity in my game either...

Awesome stuff with the models and textures, but it seems that the "sapca_on1.tga" file is missing some extra details. I'm having a look.

And btw, very clever trick with the uniforms!

Sorry, first Mod I have ever tried to use, where is that .rar file suppose to go for it to be usable?

If I only have WinZip to uncompress files, do I have to buy a program to unzip this file, or is there a free program which I can use? And then where do those files go to be used?

Is there a place where I can get an uncompressed verson to download?

Download WinRAR or 7Zip. WinRAR works on both Zip and RAR files, and 7Zip handles almost all kinds, including .7z ones that you sometimes run into. Take your pick, both are good (I use both) and Google away for a download link. They're free, and very easy to use.

Put both mod folders ("US NAVY OFFICER HAT MOD FOR SH4" and LOWER "OFFICER RANKS US NAVY OFFICER HAT") into the directory called MODS, (found in Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 4\MODS) - both of these folders will have a Data folder in them. That means they're installed correctly. The unzipping program (like WinRAR) should let you just drag and drop the folders across very easily.

Then run JGSME and fiind the new mod listed on the left. If it isn't listed, then the folder is in the wrong place (not in MODS) or you've unzipped it into folder withing a folder.

That should help you out.

This, along with the smaller rocks and sea plants, is my favorite graphics mod.

The vanilla hat makes my officers look like bums. The new hat makes me proud to call them fellow seamen.
