Otherwise, I currently have the officers wearing their appropriate rank insignia, and the CPO no longer wears the officer's cap.

present day E-7 CPO Collar Device - I don't think it has changed; same insignia on the hat with a black chin strap above the visor (edit: or see current picture on Subsim home page)
