Why is it that the Germans always vote wrong in the elections?

The answer is literally on the street:
The folks here are unable to think 10 seconds ahead while driving, how can I expect them to think several years in advance?

OK, I admit, it was my fault. I prayed Ukko to send a storm in his general direction and specifically asked him to snipe Penguin with a bolt. Unfortunately I bribed the god with ungodly amount of alcohol and apparently the drunken idiot overdid it again. I'm filing a refund demand as we speak.
