Default Why Swindon??

Does anyone know why Swindon is on my map? (GWX, don't know if it is in stock too)
It's in-land, does it have some historic WW2 significance that I am unaware of?

In Stock, Cardiff is labelled as Merthyr Tidfil which alwasy made me chuckle, seeing as Merthyr is on top of a bloody great hill.

I actually have a lot of cities that have no significance on WW2 on my map. Why should Swindon be of any difference?

Because that is the location/residence of the Grey Wolf who scripted it into the GWX campaign layer

As GWX is so great, I'll forgive the indulgence, but is does make me chuckle.

Nope, no Spaniards were harmed during the development of GWX

There are a few more locations but I can't remember them right now...there was also a one for me, it wasn't on the doorstep but it was a submarine base during the war.
