Hi all fellow kaleuns. I just wanted to say a big thank you to Fubar for his outstanding work with his sub skins and the fact they make GWX a real pleasure to play. The only problem is deciding which one to use! My Fubar skins folder is almost a gig in size now LOL.

I'm about to start my 5th war patrol with my type IX-C and I think I'll use that weathered skin next. Or maybe...

Anyway keep up the good work mate and a Merry Xmas to you and all fellow kaleuns especially with GWX 2.0 just around the corner.

Now, i´m here just to say that rusted version of White and White Adler turm skin are finished.
Both skin versions (clean White and rusted White skin) are uploaded and ready for DL.

Castout, you got yours type9c white rustier than ever before!
Rust is on fine progress, so when you dive don´t expect that you will ever resurface again. HE,HE!!!!!! (joke)

I´m just finished work on my two new skins (Masked standard) for type9b and 9c u-boats, they are similar to previous Grey Masked v.2 but with different masking pattern.
This skins representing standard SH3 Type9 hull color scheme on my grey template.
Hull masking pattern(spikes) have same shape and position like original SH3 scheme, but CT texture are changed(i used CT template in file NSSUboat9c for orientation ).
They are also slightly improved in details of CT (little doors).

This textures are finished and ready for upload.

No worry CapZap, i will made totally NEW (SHINING) type 9´s just for you and others who loves "just came from shipyard" models. Like i said, i also love fresh paint but with maybe small rusting on plates.
I also will soon upload OLDER (first) skins what i´m presented on my first post.

**By the way your´s Atlantic Ghost, Atlantic Ghost Camo and specialy All BGW are very eye catchy**

My first (my own) skin, not rework from another skiner.

I´m shifted from my standard grey template(rework of FUBAR´s U-805) to painting somethig new , and originaly my texture. I used ChessMaster and extracted standard SH3 textures of type9c and started to play with them.

After about hour and half of painting i managed to produce some decent colors over SH3 textures.

NOTE that this skin are currently in development, so some time will be needed to finish details and other..

This is my 9-er "Grey Wolf"






And some U-505 association(LOT OF WORK NEEDED ON MASKING)

Who knows how this model will look like when resurface in final version but for now he looks promisingly.

My Type7c U-995 will soon be uploaded in both CLEAN and RUSTY version.




I´m returned to texturing of type 7 showed on my second post, but now this skin is heavily different and like "Type 9c GREY WOLF" skin this is originaly my work (FUBAR´s skins i used only for orientation during producing and placing some details).

Like in Grey Wolf i with help of Chessmaster extracted original SH3 textures and tuned up them.

Some paint chipping would be nice for U-995 too.
