Fist of Poseidon

Here's my personal U-boat emblem. It was made to commemorate the patrol where I sank two destroyers that were hunting me after I raided a convoy and earned my boat the right to have an emblem.

Some of you have seen it already in another post. I wanted something unique and agressive, so I made it from scratch with pen and paper, scanned it, then touched it up using PSP X and making it into a .tga with background transparency (using a graphics tablet is murder).

I wanted it to be simple so it was easily recognized and also have the look of having been painted on by hand, by the proud crew in celebration of such a sucessful patrol.

It's currently being sported on the conning tower of my much beloved VIIB, U-47 (I really need to find a unique boat number, too.)

I can't remember exactly.
Fubar VII/C probably.
But I thing it is in my "SH3 Shop" witch you can find on my file front page(Clik below).
If not, tell me and I'll make an other search.

I just verify, it's correct.
It's the Fubar VII/C U-253 and it's in my "Silent Hunter III Shop" on file front(and also in many other location).

On my last mission, a destroyer hit my conning tower with a shell and blew my embelm off.

Ach die Schweine!

I suggest your next emblem should be an Iron Fist with the middle finger raised, that should show them

Or alternatively you could make it a crosshair with "Tommy Aim Here" below it

I got such a kick from making that custom emblem, that I've been bitten by the bug to make more.

I currently have two more as a WIP.

More to come. Same Bat-time, same Bat-channel!

This was inspired by the "3 x Schwarze Katze" emblem used on a German sub in WW2...

Hi all.
May I ask if someone could make an emblem out of this for me?

According to UboatAces http://www.uboataces.com/ref-insignia4.shtml it is one of the emblems U-53 used.
I guess it should be a red heart on an transparent background but the rest is up to you.
If any of you graphical wizards could help I would be a happy Swede

Ive hit the bottom of the Mediterranian at 250 metres in my VIIC and brought that babe back up, and still made it back to La Spezia. Ive sunk more destroyers than I have merchants...youll wish you never sailed into U-87s hunting grounds. When you pull into port, dont lull yourself into a false sense of security, your mines and subnets are just a petty challenge for my crew and I.
