As far as I know, 1.02 is the latest and what I understood is that DeepSix couldn't use RapidShare.

The one I posted is on FileFront.

Works like a charm. Read the readme first to understand how it's working.

Kpt. Lehmann once again a big thumbs up

You saved my crew they were begining to fry in the sun lounging about topside, maybe now I can get there lazy asses to work in some serious weather, by the way GW 1.1 has brought a new life to SH3 had not played it in about 7 months but with GW's added I'm back to my old Submariner self...

Thank-you for the download, and can;t wait for the next GW update

Once again the Old Sailor comes late to the party. This was another mod I avoided for no reason other than I wasn't sure it would work (SH3 Gen was the last one I did that with). I downloaded and installed it, and followed the directions. When I started my new patrol, nothing had changed. Well, I thought, sometimes even random weather is going to be perfect.

As I was sailing out of Kiel, I suddenly said to myself "Self, hold on a minute. Are those clouds I see?". Yes, they were. The weather was PARTLY CLOUDY! I've never seen anything so beautiful at the beginning of a patrol. So I checked the actual weather report, and instead of the usual 5 m/s winds, they were only blowing at 2 m/s!

The weather was actually BETTER than the usual default, and I'm happy as a clam!

Thanks!

Damn, Steve you stole my thoughts. I had DL'd the original version but never installed it but thanks to this resurgance in interest I just got the 1.02 version running last night. Works better than advertised except when I tried it on a Med patrol nothing ever changes-ever. Is that the way it's supposed to be?
Anyway, hats off to Skweetis on this one.

Did you check the checkbox for med weather?

This really is a nice little mod, started out from willhamshaven, or whatever......Wind 2knots from 233 degrees.....Finally got into the North sea...to see clouds on the horizon, I'm now running with winds at 7 knots from the SE with a decent swell running cmdr waves addition at 1.25>>>> Happy Bunny

I think the changes are much more subtle in the Med.
