I know we had drop off the quarterdeck charges in WW2, especially on our Black Swan Class Sloops, but not sure of jap destroyers. But I too noted the increase in elevation and distance of the side throwers with RSRD.

Thanks Lurker,
For the nice links, under favorites now... ![]() I could not find specifics on the DC stations themselves tough. You guys have spent a lot of time on this mod so I take it that deletion of stern rollers was a realism enhancement, presumably to get it finally as you said: "as designed". Thanks, Trebb

Actually, there's a lot of controversy on that issue...TM already ships with an Environmental mod anyway, but if you really want to use PE, I *think* it's safe to install it after TM and RSRDC. It's been a while since I checked the mods in question for conflicting files (since I used many parts of TM, and RSRDC in its whole), but if memory serves PE3 doesn't touch any of the "critical" RSRDC files, and the patch for TM is there to make it compatible with TM.

This page doesn't show any DC roll racks on this Akizuki class model: http://steelnavy.com/NichimoHatsuzukiLR.htm This Fubuki class DD apparently has DC roll racks, but it's hard to tell: http://steelnavy.com/TamiyaAyanamiSS.htm Kagero without DC roll racks: http://steelnavy.com/BWNKagero.htm Another Akizuki without DC roll racks: http://steelnavy.com/AoshimaAkizukiJGordon.htm Steelnavy.com, BTW, is a great site. Check it out to see what types of models guys have built there.

In the case of the Ayanami, although my first reaction is that those are roll racks, I noticed that the model depicts as she appeared in 1929, so I have to wonder if it might be additional minesweeping gear. Looks to me like it's photo time. Drawings carry the information the artist intends them to contain, not reality... just try to compare street maps to reality. In spite of considerable care, they just don't have 100% accuracy. In fact, purposeful errors are made for the reason of copyright enforcement.
I would trust a verbal description or photograph before I trust a plastic toy model or drawing.
