Should this MOD be enabled after those ROW Sound MODS for the 1.5 version of SH4 when one wants to sail as the U-Boat?

How does this MOD relate to the Spaxs German Speech MOD? Does one choose one or the other? Does one overwrite the other?

Should the ROW Mods be disabled and this MOD enabled each time one wants to sail the U-Boat?

I downloaded and it doesn't seem JSGME ready... it has sub-folders, separately named with their own data folders...
There is a 'Poul-Sound for SH4' folder, a 'Return for Creaks and Man the deck(flak) gun' folder (with data folder in it), 'Return for Man the deck and flak gun', etc. Just dropping the main folder "Poul etc" into the MODS folder wouldn't seem to work. help?

Could someone explain how to install/enable these sound/speech MODS? It's pretty confusing to me...sorry.
Files are written in Read. me (for the format of WAVE) this mod will replace the files of ROW Sounds+RSRDC III.

Files are written in Read. me (folder of Speech) this mod will replace analogical files in other mod.
For the German submarines - these reports will be in English language.

Forget about a folder "Return for Creaks and Man the deck(flak) gun". Main folder - "Poul-Sound for SH4". Use it for JSGME.

I hope that able to give help you (if did not tangle a question quite again).

Poul, would it be possible to mix the American "Dive, Dive" with the "Das Boot?" Maybe just keep all the action noise from "Das Boot" Emergency Dive but remove the "Alarm!" word? I know sounds do not always mix well, but it might be worth a try.

Or would you like me to record myself yelling "Emergency Dive!" . . . I can record it into a high quality wave file using Sonar. I can use a nice Beyer Dynamics mic or perhaps a Shure SM7. My music PC has a nice M-Audio 1010 LT sound card.

Of course! This plan was from the beginning. I applied voices from films, because my English-language friends were timid. Let us do it.
Here information about Diving Procedure from USS COD:
http://www.usscod.org/diving.html
Do the record of voices in the format: WAVE, 44100Hz, 16 bit, MONO.
I will wait your work.
More courage!
The main thing: expression and veracity in work of voice.

I will do it this weekend. Did you want just "Dive, Dive!" or also "Emergency Dive!"?

I downloaded the mod a couple of days ago and I must say that if I had to choose only one mod for SH4 it would be this one! Absolutely fantastic work Poul!

Poul, I'm enjoying your soundmod. I noticed one thing . . . the command to dive and the command to surface only plays one time each. I think the same thing happened with the ROW sound mod when it first came out. In the ROW sound mod, the sound of the submarine surfacing and the diesel starting up only played the first time. If you surfaced again in the same game it would not play. I think LukeFF or somebody fixed it by making the sound file shorter. Certain sound files can only be a specific length, not longer. Maybe your Dive and Surface command files are too long?

The Submarine_diving and Submarine_surfacing files cannot be longer than 15 seconds, otherwise the game will play them just once and then "shut them off" for the rest of your session. The surfacing and diving command files can be as long as one wants - the files I've made for RFB for these two are over a minute long, and they play fine without any issues.
