Absolutely compatible. The changes Commander can make is to the wave height and the underwater visibility. The SH5 water mods don't have anything to do with either of those.

ah ok

so sh3 commander is compatible with gwx 3.0 and pacth 1.6b withouth problems,but in any case i have to change some thing or i can keep the game as i modded??
PS:i have some problems with the campaign generated with sh3 commander ;in particular when i reach some areas li NY os trinidad

Does SH3 Commander remove the EnglishNames.cfg/GermanNames.cfg/FrenchNames.cfg when it launches?

It would put them in the Backups folder if it did.

But does it?

Not unless you've put a mod into SH3 Commander which overwrites the Names.cfg files.

Hey folks.... I FINALLY got my SH3 install to work on my new Windows 7 computer. Well almost working on an almost new computer.

I can install the game, and the 1.4 patch.... and at that point everything works fine. I can play the game. However, I'm accustom to playing with SH Commander.

I searched all over the net and found a copy.... not sure where now.

Anyhow... when I install Commander... my men dont speak, and there are no effects sounds... only music and the background engine noise.

Tried uninstall and re-install 3 times..... no luck..... any ideas?

I'm figuring the Commander version I have is flawed.

Do you have a download SH3 Commander on this site?
Link please..... I'm old.

From the SH3 Commander manual troubleshooting section...

Installed and am now playing GWX 3.0 with Commander.

I'm finding it much more challenging..... and fun.

Perhaps I'll squeeze another 5 years or so out of this game. LOL.
