Night visibility

How do you mod the Night visibility? My friend can't see nothing on his screen, even when he tune up the brightness, gamma, and contrast. If anyone knows how to mod this, my friend and I will be pleased, same in silent hunter iii.

Take the sea and sky textures, they have a series of squares... edit on both the top left corner square.

reflex_pac.tga
Sky_pac.tga


Select the zone with the photoshop selection tool, and change bright, contrast... make them more clear...

With this you will not have better visibility really, but will have a more clear background , and this fact will let you to see the ships silouettes better at night.

Look...



This mod must be made over your present textures, i made a mod much time ago... but the problem is there are many diferent mods textures there around, then you must to edit your present textures.

Which file does the reflex and sky files located in which file?
For SH 4:

reflex_pac.tga
Sky_pac.tga

(unpacked textures)

Into:

C:\...\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 4 Wolves of the Pacific\Data\Textures\TNormal\tex




For SH 3:

SkyColors_Arct.dat
SkyColors_Atl.dat
SkyColors_Med.dat

(Packed Textures... you need to use SH3 Unpacker to unpack :

cer_arctic.tga
reflex_arctic.tga

sky_atl1.tga
reflex_atlantic.tga

cer_medit.tga
reflex_medit.tga

Modify the top left corner only and repack them into the .dat file.

Into:

C:\...\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Env
