I see what happened. I didn't realize there was a new cameras.dat in the RFB file I'm testing. Sorry about that!

One other thing: with the current release of PE, there is still a problem with the lighthouse searchlight: it travels vertically instead of horizontally - that is, you'll see it travel "underneath" the water and then come around again. Might you be able to fix this?

I have the problem with fire looking like big pixelated blocks. What was the fix for that again?

Hi Letterboy,

here is a hotfix for those who are experiencing strange blocky fire effects:
http://hosted.filefront.com/kriller2/

Hi Lansing.
Sorry for the delay in answer on this.

It seems you have a file-conflict in your install, you cannot use ROW special effects with NSM4, but if you want to use it try Dr. Beast's NSM4 for ROW here:
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...highlight=NSM4

What mods do you have installed?

Default New scene from Uboat Missions for testing

Hi all.

Finally after alot of work and comparing files! I think I have found what caused the jiggly water in the old ROW files , try enable this after PE 1_1A in JSGME and tell me if you are experiencing any jiggly water?

This file is allso recomended for those who want to have the ROW pe enviroments in there new SH4 Uboat missions.

This version works with the addon for SH4, but I need feedback if it allso works with the old SH 4 1.4:

Kriller, thank goodness you made a hotfix for the blocky glitch. I temporarily reverted to pre-PE ROW but am glad to be going back to PE tonight after work. I'll try out that new scene test file, too.

Will do. If it goes well I'll make a short decent quality video in a quick mission and put it up here.

So far so good. I've got some gameplay footage in mostly good weather so I'll try to find some storms for more video and then I'll make a short compilation.

Default Bugs corrected in the scene test file!

Bugs:
- Storm at 12 o'clock. Very bright water was seen is now corrected.
- Storm bright clouds all through midnight ( ) now corrected.
- Strange ambient light when sun rise and sun sets, which looks like someone pointed a flashlight at the sub :rotfl: now corrected, sorry.
- To bright water when cloudy at 12 o'clock corrected!

Try the new scene test file from SH4 Uboat Missions here: ( You can enable this on top of PE 1.0 or PE 1.1)
http://files.filefront.com/PE+1+1+a3.../fileinfo.html

Thanks to all those reporting bugs about this alpha it's a timesaver for me.

Good news! the new scene test file actually works with SH4 1.4 and I haven't seen any jiggly water while testing it with 1.4, you should try it!

@ Letterboy sounds good you are making a video, I'm looking forward to see it.

I enabled your P.E. 1.1....I got this Torp/TDC/etc Display.

I never had this before...although i have seen it in other folks' Screencaptures. I prefer the original/default display. Am I correct in assuming that you incorporated this display in P.E.1.1 and, if so, how can I get back my preferred Default display (the one with green torp buttons, etc, and Two-Speed Torp settings instead of the new display's Three-speed torp settings, etc)??? As you can see, I did already overwrite your P.E. 1.1 with my preferred "LeoVamp HUD..." display across the bottom.
