I, personally, think that the best way to remember and memorialize Dave is to continue to post pictures like these. They are the result of his hard work and genius with scenery. Thanks Dave.

I just don't know what to say...
![]() I'm very sad to hear about Dave and i hope he's in a better place now. He was the driving force behind this and without him i can't imagine ROW ever coming into existence. His dedication to his work and the community as a whole was second to none and he will be missed dearly. I've been away from subsim for a while because of RL issues and i feel really sorry for only seeing and offering my condolences now. I hope we can continue work on this in Daves memory - I'm sure that's what he'd wanted.

Hi guys,
I'm currently running many ROW files with SH4 but at one point in my game, the ocean start shaking. This is really ruining the visual aspect of the game. I tried to pause the game after doing some time compression on the navigation map (like it's said in the first page of this thread) but it's not solving the problem, the waves keep shaking. The shaking also seems to increase in frequency as the mission progress. Here's the files i'm running (in this exact order), maybe someone have a clue about what to do? ROW Textures with Sun Halo camera flair vs_5 ROW Sub Reflections and Roll Pitch Mod vs_5 ROW Sky and Ocean Controls vs_5 ROW Special Effects with stock zones vs_5b ROW Object Reflections and Search Lights vs_5b ROW Sound Effects vs_8 ROW New Clouds from Kriller2 Dave_Si_Interior ROW Realistic Camera with sway vs_2d ROW NEW SeaFoam from Jaketoox I'm patched to the last SHIV version (1.4) and those are my comp specs : Windows XP AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+ 2.21 GHz, 2,00 Go RAM NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GT |

Hang tight. Kriller2/Foo/Skjwaser have found and corrected two small bugs in the scene.dat file. It seems to have cured the jiggy water after high TC. Still being tested and soon to be on the original post for downloading. Basically completing the work Dave started. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=128808

I Have taken my time to respond to Dave,s departure from this world into a better one..........
I Don,t know Dave personally but have come to know him through his awesome patance and shear drive to get things done with little thought and time to himself .......... Just to read his posts told me volumes of the kind heart and warmth he passed onto so many when i would be pulling my hair out. Thank you Dave ![]() ![]() ![]() Your work is now our living memory a part of you we can share and belong to every time we boot up the PC and spend way to many hours becoming the game on the screen. No more tears no more pain no more suffering........joy peace and happyness be yours God bless Dave.... A word if i may to the mode guys keep up the good work i salute your efforts.....this is one hell of a fantastic game made better by you all.... ![]() i have played the silent hunter games since silent hunter 2 and my first sub game was Aces of the deep........great work one and all...... ![]()

Hi folks,
I'm very keen to add the new environmental bells and whistles that these Mods make possible. Alas, I'm having a problem finding the 'readme' file associated with the ROW download so I know what to do with the files themselves. Is there something in particular I have to do when setting up the download? Pleae forgive my technical ignorance. :p Any help greatly appreciated. |

![]() Check out the first post in the thread, in it you will see a JSGME Screen shot, one with Trigger Maru, the other a generic install, don't worry as much about the fact that the pics use older versions, just focus on the install order. Because I am not sure if you are using mods, use the generic install version. If you are using one of the larger mods, let us know and we can help you with that as well. Don't worry about technical ignorance, we all go through a learning process here, actually it never really stops. Hope some of this helps, post back if you have any questions. RDP |

RDP[/quote] Many thanks for the reply. I'm installing the generic Mod installer now. I'll be sure and follow the instructions to the letter. Cheers! |
