Welcome back Leo! Like everyone else has said, TAKE IT EASY! I know you're working for a cause, but don't wear yourself down mate. I'm sure that, though the Fates have been damn cruel to you, they'll allow you to finish this masterpiece. Just take your time.

Yesterday I tried the Row collection with TM 1.7 and NSM 3.3.It works perfectly

My JSGME configuration is the following:
-TM 1.7
-TM1.7.1
-NSM3.3 classic
-NSM hardcore torpedo mod
-The entire ROW collection shown below with only the sound effects vs5

ACHTUNG....I have done that...at my own risk!

First I have to figure out what has changed and how and then see what needs to be done.

So give me some time guys okay as I will not be pulling long hours on it for a while till I feel up to par.

Have a lot of reading to do in the forum first to see what I can pick up on changes to help track it all down.

Again thanks for all the nice posts it is apreciated to say the least!

To me being in a hospital is like being locked up in a prison. So I do not get along with the staff well when I am in there.

My friend brought my dog's to see me a couple of times got hospital aproval after they went to the vet to make sure they were safe and clean and so on.

Almost everyone on a cardiac floor is much older than me so they loved the dogs as they walked with me around the floor as part of recoup theropy. The average age of people there was in the 60's to 70's where I am only 43.

But Duci you must be in your glory as you have tons of work to do. :rotfl:

Well I will see you all tomarrow. I am going to make my game 1.4 and see how it looks and runs today then go from there.

Take care and catch you tomarrow everyone!

Dave
It's good to hear you came through it all okay. I had a heart attack at 42 - unfortunately age often has nothing to do with it (I now know people who have had one as young as 23, and one who was 91 before his).

Take it easy and listen to your body about how much to do. I know the fatigue feeling you mentioned, and you just have to go with it and let your own feelings set the pace.

Hey Dave:

Welcome back! I suppose you collect those Purple Hearts like they're going outta style.

Take as long as you need to recover. You need the repair your hull damage before you can dive very deep, okay?

hi,

Welcome back good, to hear you're finally out of hospital, don't worry too much about ROW needing to be 1.4 compatible - the fact that you still have a reflection in the mirror is the important thing!!

Take your time and ease into it slowly!

Welcome back!

Hope you're up to speed as quickly as possible in RL. Take it easy on modding unless you find it therapeutic. My father in law always says "the immune system only works when you are horizontal." (he's a retired neurosurgeon) So take his advice and rest!

Default WOW thanks everyone! I am taking it easy but still taking the game patch appart

Does anyone know the Gunnis record for most servied heart attacks? Sorry had to make a joke seeing I am up to 12 of them now. :rotfl:

I do want to pose a warning though. I am finding a lot of files in the game with changed links to other area's of the game files.

I am still piecing together how it all works. The Scene.dat has less control over the game and new stuff has been added to files we orginaly used in the mod.

This means a lot of rework to make everything 1.4 compatable with no problems in peoples games.

At the moment I only trust texture files for my own game if that is an indication of how I feel about the old work at the moment.

The Particles and materials file are going to need to be redone .

The lightning is going nuts as some people have posted with pictures.

I still do not know if the lightning repair files are compatable but I do know the posted files for the ROW special effects should not be used at the moment.

I haven't looked at the zone's file yet but I have a feeling there are changes there as well with the new patch.

For the moment try using these particles and materials files for the oil slik and new fire effects they should stop all the lightning problems. These are not 1.4 compatable but should be usable until it is done.
