Default Keyboard shortcuts - possible?

I was wondering whether it is possible to customise the commands cfg file by adding keyboard shortcuts to some useful commands.
I've already added in one such that hitting the "Enter" key reduces time compression to 1x immediately.

Now I want to have some more shortcuts so that instead of clicking on the watch officer, for example, to man deck and/or flak guns, or to get range to target when the CO himself commands the deck gun for surface engagements, it'd be quicker to do this via keyboard.

Thinking of using an Alt-key combo.

There was a nifty little program where one could press a key, and the program would return the hexadecimal code for that key that you need to put inside the config file. For instance, the "Enter" key returns 0x0d.

Any help?

Hi Zero Niner,

this is not the tool you mentioned [KeyChecker] but it's much more useful: SetKeys 1.3

I'll look for KeyChecker on my HDs and shall upload it for you [and all mates] - please hold the line...
