How about GWX 6.0 guys? Would that still be possible to assemble Good Old Team and make that nowadays?

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=155583 I think too, that if somehow we were to pick up and continue development, we'd be risking the rock-steady stability of what we have built and released. We will continue to support GWX users and the current version for the forseeable future though. You can play GWX for YEARS and still not see / experience everything we built into it. ![]() External to GWX itself though, new stuff is still being built by various modders for GWX. (Just use caution, and remember that those modders are responsible for supporting what they release.) To everyone who has supported GWX with their time, energy, and well wishes... THANK YOU! So many have given so much... and have shared kind words to us. I'll say to you all, what I said to Privateer on the phone the other day: Looking back, we have been so lucky in a thousand different ways. I'm still not sure exactly how it (GWX) became so successful... but inspite of BUCKETS of obstacles and problems... we were fortunate enough to be in the right place, at the right time, with the right people. I have to admit to even feeling a bit grateful to our 'opponents' and critics. They made us work harder... and indirectly made GWX even better than it might have been. Everyone who was ever involved with the construction of GWX, can look at the body of work and be proud of it! Just speaking for myself now, from the standpoint of being the GWX founder / project manager... I really don't think I could pull it off again. My fangs have gotten a little dull and there's little streaks of white are starting to show on my fur. ![]() Besides, I was passed over for that promotion to 'Admiral'... and I'm just not in the mood! So there! ![]() ![]() |

Appreciate your speech kpt. Lehmann,
GWX will remain one of the best supermods of all time I have ever had pleasure to run on my machine. ![]() Last edited by Sittingwolf; 08-10-12 at 08:02 AM. |

Hi,
I get the following errors when I try to run GW3. It happens on the load screen (torpedo leaving sub) "There is a new(not implemented) page ingame options" Followed by "Menue ID not found: 0xla000008!" Then the game crashes and I get the "SH3 has stopped working" message. Ive tried to install twice with the same errors. Any help please? Windows 7 64bit Thanks Novac |

I would do a new install.
But before you do that! Use SquareSteelBar's SH3 Cleaner. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=195156 If your version patches to 1.4 you have starforce and the No DVD patch is needed. If the 1.4 patch fails? You don't need the no DVD patch. |

Still no luck. I tried the SH3 removal tool and I still get the same errors "There is a new(not implemented) page ingame options" Followed by "Menue ID not found: 0xla000008!" Ive also tried on another PC that has never ran SH3 and get the same results. Looks like I'll just have to have a look at some separate mods and forget GW |

Use the MD5 hash checker found here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...postcount=6380 It is not the GWX mod itself that is causing your problems. It might be worth your time to figure it all out instead of giving up. (Its how I once found out that my old PC was beginning to fail.) |

The specific error is a corrupted menu_1024_768.ini and it's not worth trying to find the offending line entry as it's completely missing (along with many others). Given that the poster wrote "menue", has the incorrect SH3 patch has been applied? Is there a 'French Fix' for GWX Gold (or was that an older version?) There were also some confirmed corrupted GWX host mirror files circulating. Where did the OP get these GWX files from? Check with MD5Mate first. If an error is found I suggest a download from a Jimbuna mirror, they are good. P.S Hope you are keeping well Kpt. ![]()

Hi the "menue" quote would have been a type error by me. I'm in the UK. I downloaded gw3 from the jimbuna site 1st the whole install via the torrent and then because that failed I downloaded the multi part files again from jimbuna. With the same results. I will check the files after work using the MD5 file. I'll also try and download the files from Lehmans site. It's just so frustrating as SH3 takes a bloody age to install Thanks Novac |
