lol...yeah, we're gonna need a working Ubootwaffe conversion afterall...that's the only way I'm going to pick up SHIV. Other than that, I'm not in the least bit interested in acquiring a copy of the game until then.

Think GWX is Awesome............Cept for 2 things, unless my install is corrupt/bugged it sounds as though my sub when on surface is using electric motors and not diesel engines..........And second.maybe being a little picky here.but.....would like to have seen some French DD units ie Aigle and Adroit class DDS and some Heavy Alied Cruisers in the new units........Anyway a BIG thankyou guys.im enjoying the GWX single campaign.

Yes the French are sadly lacking in warships as are the Polish\Russians and a few others

I believe the excellent Gerome_73 is working on a Brit heavy cruiser as we speak
A lot of ppl would prefer new merchants to warships but it often helps to have available units for a countries roster

Its not being picky but wishful thinking at the moment

Is the GWX meant to replace the supermod, should uninstall/reinstall than add the GWX.? Just add the GWX with the current supermod in place? Or reinstall both?

Total complete replacement sir. On the first post of this thread, you can download a copy of the manual. In it you can find detailed instructions on getting started... easy as pie!

Do a fresh sHIII install, add the 1.4b patch, then install GWX on top. It wont work on top of GW 1.1a or similar.

The GWX Dev Team did a great job and addressed a lot of little problems besides the big picture. Leaving Lorient was like the real thing, a sparkling sea and some traffic to dodge made it feel real. I stayed on real time well past Ile de Groux.
