Thanks.

I was cajoled into drawing in the 5th grade when the teacher asked if I was participating in a county-wide school art contest. When I hemmed and hawed she said, "You are," and handed me a sheet of poster paper. I ended up winning the contest and went onto win several more art shows in high school (mostly charcoal and pen and ink).

Got my start into photography when I was a teenager and mother was the editor of a local paper. There was a story that needed covering but no reporters around. Mom handed me one of those old Yashica twin-lens reflex 120mm cameras (the kind you looked down into view finder), a pad of paper and sent me off. Though I was nervous, I wrote an adequate news story and took some decent photos!

My first GWX career has ended, so I'm trying some of the single missions before I start the next one....exciting stuff.

Playing 'hide and seek' with a destroyer in the middle of a convoy, but nearly got run down by the big ship (periscope survived but ride was quite rocky for a while.....)

A direct hit from Bismarck (no work for me....Bismarck also sank a destroyer that was hunting me)

Agreed. The way the foreground is in focus and the background is out of focus makes it look like a still from a movie. Well done.

But wait, we are here in an canoe, what does that make us then?

Yes Fender74, you are a Master. Nice effect. I thought I was watching an ancient film...

It's my new wallpaper, and I like a lot:

Retro. Found this while looking through some old screens. Just to remind us what the vanilla version looked like (and an older video card).
