Also keep in mind that the campaign files themselves are changing, so adding icebergs to the current campaign files will just need to be redone all over again since the files will be changing.

Unless you're keeping them all as a separate layer mission you can just drop in, than you're golden.

As for the time compression thingy and avoiding collisions with contacts I've noticed that collisions don't happen at high time compressions. I've sailed through many ships at 2048. Or at least it looked like it.

Yeah, this is probably correct. Neal posted a video of DD's going straight through the land. Problem with the 'Travel Mode' feature maybe? When I set-up a lone Iceberg to travel on a Southerly course at 0.5 knots, it went straight through the appropriately named Iceland

As it stands, I have 30+ 'Bergs in the Artic Circle area, that are stationary, but Spawn randomly within a 20 KM radius. There seems little point going to the trouble of setting-up looping Waypoints for each one because, if you encounter one it'd moving too slowly to notice anyway. Instead of Waypoints I am toying with the idea of having the 'Bergs only appear during the Winter months. I can put them in different postions each year, so that it doesn't be come too predictable

Default God's Tooth!

Imagine the money you'd get from the Tooth Fairy if she found this sucker under your pillow !

Here is one of the problems I'm trying to deal with. Placing a large 'Berg like the one seen below into a shallow area means that it will hover like this for a short while before slowly sinking into position. It's quite cool to see, but kind of an immersion killer

Sunken vessels also sink into the earth after a while, to keep Poly-counts to a minimum I guess. The Devs building-in this feature isn't a bad idea I suppose, but it was kind of cool to have the possiblity of crashing into a sunken wreck when trying to avoid DD's

It looks really interesting, what is the quickest way to locate an iceberg when starting a new career?

Default "Where can I find them?"

Let's just say, you'd better have your best Watch-crew on deck when entering the Ffjord into Narvik, Norway . They show up on Sonar by-the-way, as a Merchant contact. So if your Sonar man calls out a Merchant contact, be sure to check it out.

Please post screenshots. Depending on feedback, I may add alot more to the game.

Happy hunting!
