I seriously doubt there is a 'Gold' version with the U-boat Missions and one without. With the box art image Amazon has posted there, perhaps they should consider updating the SH4 Gold box cover art image they're using to the one that EBGames is using.

I would think that SH4 Gold is, SH4 + UBM ...regardless of whatever box cover image a distributor is posting/displaying on the 'net for it.

Regards

Hmmm. If I'm not entirely mistaken I've got some sorts of collectors edition - a coloured map, a CD of the theme music, a sort of cloth badge thingie that I should probably iron on to my best SH4 underwear and a recognition manual. I distinctly remember the guy in the store trying to push some ultra-uber-collectors edition on me which I didn't go for. I assume that version would've included a S-18 class sub at the very least.

Edit: The version I've got looks like this:

Dunno about the 2+ other versions

That would be my thinking too, but not so much that I'm going to cancel my EB order and reorder it from Amazon until I know for sure. I hope we find out soon.

I'll definitely pick up the gold version when it comes out as I've not grabbed the expansion pack due to my hatred of Direct2Drive.

Good news, indeed.

I was mostly pointing out the $10 price difference between the two vendors. EBGames was at $19.99 until recently and they jumped up to $29.99 for some reason...

I see that. I double-checked, and my order is pending at $19.99 still. Of course after I added $7 for two-day shipping...:rotfl:
