Edit: Never mind, I've tried to put all the files in the .dat file and it's not even possible... Didn't know that. Still how can I prevent the type VIIB to make use of the VIIC flakgun textures?

Emcon I use the chessmaster DAT extractor you can get it here
ftp://ftp.ubi.com/us/games/chessmast...TexExtract.zip
if you tell me which tga files you wish to put in there DAT files I should be able to tell you where to find them.
As regards to you useing the VIIC flakgun textures you could put
the UFlak_High.tga file in the texture folder in your game, find your
Ubisoft folder on your system and open it then open silenthunterIII
folder then open data folder then open Textures folder then open
the TNormal folder then place the UFlak_High.tga file in the tex folder then your done. However by putting this file in the Tex folder
it means this flak file will be used for all flak guns and deck guns
on all uboats I hope this helps you.

I've had afew problems with the conning tower because of the
texture repeat problem on these conning towers so I had to make
some compromises with the layout, I've still got alot to do on this skin I want to make a new main deck like in the pics of the model
and a new con deck anyway heres afew pics of what I've done at
this point

I'm allready using the chessmaster DAT extractor. So far it worked, I only wondered if I could put the UFlak_high.tga (and some other files) in a DAT file. Because I don't want the VIIB to make use of this file. But I guess there is nothing that can prevent that, right? So each time you want to change boats you have to install/uninstall the skin mods if I'm not mistaking.

This are the files I would like in a DAT file (however not possible, I guess):

Turm7c_3_deck.tga
UFlak_High.tga
conning_stuff.tga
mask_type7.tga
NSS_Uboat7c_coning.tga
Turm7c_1_deck.tga
Turm7c_2_deck.tga

And ofcourse the Deck and Hull tga's, but I did manage to put them in a DAT file.

Your skins just keep getting better and better. I am sure looking forward to your latest skin. There are so many good looking skins being produced as of late, it is quite hard to decide which one to use.

I was wondering, would you be able to do a Type IXC skin that looks like U-534 in it's present state? I've been thinking for quite a while that it would be cool to prowl the seas in a sunken sub. Maybe the large dings in the rear starboard side of the sub could be skinned somehow? Here's a link to U-boat.net's page about U-534 if that would help.
