Vielen Dank Uekel

I am gonna try this right now, downloading as we speak.

And also thank you SIlent Steel, I was aware of that method which you mentioned, I used it but the game would still crash in port, so I needed a "light" mod list to leave port and then a heavy one to normally go on patrol, but now I am keeping my fingers crossed for the new and improved mtns 1.8c

Perhaps it helps, that that this configuration run smoother for you. If you want try, you´ll find it as usual here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=3222.

There is a link to the also reupped "OHII&HarbourAdditon_Fix" as well.

Hi Trevally and Silent Steel!

I must give a BIG THANK espacially for you, not only for for this, that recently we very often occupy this thread for mtns-issues , also for the support and assistance you have given users, if something go wrong with the mtns-mod. Of course not only for the mtns-mod, but in this case I can speak only for this.

best regards

Thanks a lot Uekel for your attempts to fix mtns+ohII I'll test it also.

By the way reporting, that CTDs with using harbor mod+ mtns1.8b (with fix)+ OHIIfull when returning to Kiel are not caused by the lack of RAM. I've added RAM to my 4 Gb and now have dual channel - 2*4Gb (total 8 Gb), but got CTD at the same place in the Kiel channel when returning to homeport. Via 'Task Manager' I've detected that PC consumes appr. 2,5-2,7 Gb od RAM when loading new career with my heavy modlist installed and it's normal (there are no PC applications existing yet, that really used amount of 8Gb I think).

Also have 2 questions:
1. Which ver. of "Harbor add. mod" should be used - for MO (with no MO installed) or for 'Open Horisons' (was developed for OHI which is abondoned now)?
2. Is it possible to use new version of mtns (1.8c) with harbour mod also?

That sounds not good.

Do you also try it without other (no-campaign)-mods?

The lack of RAM I mean, is the usable (EDIT1) not the installed. Please remember, I play (and work on it) with a 4gig Laptop. But I haven´t installed heavy RAM-consumption mods. If the error in this mod alone, it wouldn´t run for all.

I hope the new version also run smoother for you.

To your questions:

Original it was planned with the "Open Horizons". I choose this only because the name analogy. Customized I had it anyway.

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...43#post1332943

But it is/was stored on megaupload.

I run it now with the Magnum Opus version. First link (Rapidshare). The only difference is a layer that I don´t use.

Not only possible, it´s higly recommended!

IF it´s not run, you have the possibility with the "light-version".

So nothing has changed for this.

EDIT1: for this mod finally usable

Thank you very much! I like your mod so much! One question, do I need to start a new campaign now when I go from mtns1.8b to version 1.8c or can I update to 1.8c when at port?

Hi Uekel!
I've disabled WoGaDi Mod BetaSix, Dynamic Env Colours, convoy's routes nav map, DBSM music 1.0.4, small flags Warship from my modlist
and managed to pass threw the channel with the 'mtns ver.1.8b + OHII + Harbour add' from the previously saved game
I really didn't know which one of the removed mods is heavy. May be 'DBSM music' mod? Also didn't mention the changes in game the WoGaDi mod provides (I've enabled it not in the bunker after 'Nights Interiror mod v.1.2'): the E-machine dials all showed '300' no matter if the E-machines being working or not.

Anyway thanks a lot for help, I'll try the v.1.8c of 'mtns' by now
