External Torpedo's

Just a quick one. Its says that you have to be submerged to use the external torps but then how do you go about to use them?

The external torpedos have to be loaded into the reserve spaces in the boat. This is what is done on the surface - you need to be in the torpedo management screen (J on the keyboard). Once they have been transferred below, they are used in the normal way.

...oh, and of course, you have to have fired at least one torpedo, forward and aft, to have a space to load in the external ones.
