kpt., try these values in the menu_1024_768 file to move the zoom level text to top center of the scope just below the heading bar:
- for observation periscope (this moves the zoom level to centered right below the heading bar): [G2B I132] Name=Zoom Type=1029;Static text ItemID=0x2B060009 ParentID=0x2B060000 Pos=290,-60,46,19; was 37,-274,46,19 Color=0x66B26680 Font=1 TextFlags=0x4 - for attack periscope (this moves the zoom level to centered right below the the heading bar): [G26 I132] Name=Zoom Type=1029;Static text ItemID=0x26060009 ParentID=0x26060000 Pos=290,-60,46,19; was 37,-274,46,19 Color=0x66B26680 Font=1 TextFlags=0x4 Give me a screenshot so I can see if I need to move the y coordinate down or not. Well, concerning the large dials mod... we came to a tough decision. Although they are very cool... they also create an alien environment that can be difficult for new AND old users to adapt to in game.
I believe that a primary cause of the success of GWX has been that it remains easy to understand in regards to mechanical operations in SH3... It remains intuitive. The environment may change... but the player interface remains simple. Concerning the adaptation of the Bordinstrument tga to Church's Obeservation scope mod... Something isn't right... still transparent in the wrong places. (Have left my cursor on one of the spaces that need filled. Double checcking the code changes now. ![]() ![]() Last edited by Kpt. I might widen the field of view horizontally and vertically (just a little) for this....does it seem a little narrow to you? From the screenshots you put up it looks like it needs some width added to the view.

And what about the outer shapes of the periscope's lenses in the 3D view ?
I mean the attack periscope has the exact same shape from outside as this new obs scope view and the 3D obs scope has a lens shaped like the current attack scope view (I mean the view at the F3 station). Is something wrong with the 3D models of the scopes ? |
