Default Volume?!

Ive just tested this mod some more, and the volume is quite low on the recorded audio. It makes it hard to hear, but it wont help switching place with the radio guy (duuh). I was just playing the april/may 1940, and those audio was way low.

For the next release, could you please increase the volume? It shouldnt be too hard as I think there are tools to do inc the volume on a selected audio files.

Default Thanks

Its not that I got the volume all down, but when I compare the volume to the volume of the SH3 default music piece it is really much lower. But thanks for increasing the volume.

Because it's mostly British and American radio I ended up not putting in my gramaphone, but these are incredible pieces of history just to have and keep.

Thanks for supplying these!

No problem Steve...

I know what you mean but I know that the subs could pick up English broadcasts. The Americans .... well I like to think of that as atmospheric bounce :)

What I like about this mod as that no matter how good we are at focusing on the historical side of the sim, sometimes hearing the actual broadcasts of the time really sends you there. To get a real sense of how active the American's we at trying to stay out of the war. Amazing to have it in game ... at least for me.

I am working on '43 and '44 right now.

Yeah, I love that part: "America First" radio. "We won't keep our shores safe by giving away our destroyers and Flying Fortresses!".

Great stuff.

I agree Steve (although, I'm keeping this in the grammophone). Although I understand ~20% from the German radio, it makes you feel like you were there.

The first time I heard the "stock" grammophone of SH3Cdr in 1939 about Prien's success in Scapa Flow, it was awesome...

Default volume

Is there any way to increae the volume of the first few files? When I play them the volume of the sub engines overwhelms the voice. Would lowering the volume of the fx effets or voice in the SH3 options due this? I tried to raise the volume of music in the controls, but to no avail.
There is a program in windows that will raise the volume, but I think it only works with MS wave files.

As I get more things I will add them to months where I can.
