I takes about forty seconds to take out the crew portions
so I will do that and then post 1.3.1 with the crew bits gone and the campaign long term loadout corrected. back in a little bit. MM Uberboot1.3.1beta has been released and is available on my file front page. http://hosted.filefront.com/MushMartin torpedo loadout corrected new gun suite drag reduced to aid with keyboard maneuvering additional deckgun ammo. more speed equip available all years, rain force effect on gun reduced to match windforce effect.ubercrew removed. built in radar not available after 12/42 so buy one at the dock. Well I hope the new version works out for ya I just got back from
my Drive after release. she is a little just a very little slick in the corners but she still handles like a champ and I did a dive test with it. woo hoo. about eighteen seconds from pressing c to out of view. sweet. I had fun with it today finally after a few fairly frantic days tested out the new AA set up. it was nice here is my choices for todays mission. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Ok people here are some screenies for the new 1.3.1 beta uber boat doing a set of evasive zig zags using [ and ] handled like a dream also did a full circle evasive took 70 seconds and the circle was about .7 km at its widest slowest the boat dropped to was 21 knots. enjoy the screenies:

Pick o the litter RDP and thanks it sure does stand out among
none enhanced screenies. MM [edit] there seems to be some confusion over the evasion pattern included in 1.3.1 just to clear it up a bit. the evasion pattern as it is will be of no use to players unless you have no other waypoints and the course you need is due north. otherwise its just there for me to experiment with to see what will work about it. MM [edit] there seems to be some need to point out that all of the original testers that recieved uber1.1 are now good to just plain have fun until im done 2.0 at which point one or two of you will be asked to help with that. but for now Ubergroop just eat em n smile. MM [edit] I know that 1.3.1 Handles ok but does anybody think I need to turn the hull drag back up a bit or is it ok to me it seems to scud a little in the hard corners. also I have personally found it nice to be able to go back to using the keyboard to steer without bleeding near so much speed. its a better method than mouse steering in battle. I decided to put out 1.3 now become 1.3.1 to give every one a whet appetite and something to do while I chip away at 2.0 2.0 as it turns out will not be a modification of 1.3.1 instead its a complete from the ground rebuild based on a IXD2 instead of a IXB. Even to my indulgent eye Uber 1.3.1 and its predecessors look a little rough hewn, I am confident that Ill have 2.0 up to the same standard as the 1.3.1 version by the end of the day. but I have hopes of taking it further and need sometime for study and practice. in an attempt to put some polish on the big guy. There are some unique challenges in the correction to the aft deckgun mount. and it may take a little more than one new set of skills to defeat them all. Im about to do my second test of the day I had just popped in to clear messages will be back on in a while. So far though progress on 2.0 is steady and as expected. MM ![]() |

The screenies look good mush sick bags at the ready for the crew and thanks for the info phantom just out of curiosity how are you targeting ur surface targets? Binocs or just letting the gun crews take there pick?:hmm:
