No thats not normal you should be fine all the way from
0 through 15 .

the only thing I can think of that might do it is Rainforce wich can
also cut the gun access off. I didnt catch this bit the first time.
but it leads me to think that some change in rain may have caused
it as I never changed the rain settings at the same time as I did the
windspeed. so they would still be set to the original low settings.

Ill have a closer look at it in a little while.

[edit] it has become apparent that there may be a problem with Uberboot career games reverting
to standard torpedo loadouts as the boat moves into the Game calander year 1940
i am looking at a solution.

Yeah i forgot to say....i was heavy rain this time.

2nd thing: after finishing a patrol in career mode the boat is overstaffed.
- I´ve too much crew for starting next patrol.
- Zaunkönig isn´t available no more.
- Ammo loads is back to normal (110 rounds for deck gun)
- maybe i´ve read over some earlier posts, solving these things....i´ll read again.

However...this boat kicks ass

No I just found out that as you roll through the new year into
1940 it changes back to default gwx torp loadouts

My bad completely I missed it and it should have been
obvious but vast majority of testing is done in missions
and Uber isnt actually my campaign boat so I never
rolled it through years end or I would have fixed it
its pretty simple to correct.

Started Carer 1939 out of Wilhelmhaven headed for patrol grid which takes me past Scapa Flow. Sailing at Deck Awash, shot down 15 aircraft and picked off a destroyer at 4300 meters, didn't even know what hit him Second destroyer by himself didn't spot me at night, decks awash until 3300 meters, too late for him, burned him, sank several merchants with D.G. and am now leaving Scapa Flow after sink'n some rather juicy targets. 78000 tons and I just barely started my patrol, the Uberboot is just way too much fun Early war sail'n Decks awash at night ,didn't zig zag once, shot down all aircraft without them putt'n so much as a dent in the hull.

Nice to see that when its working people are liking it.
Ill say this much I found more holes in it in the first
48hrs of release than I did in three or four weeks
of testing. inspite of some certain inconveniences
and im sure a few snickers, I think releasing the
beta1.3 has helped a lot as far as the project
itself goes.

Still its all about fun and I am glad people are liking it.

So far haven't really run into any probs Mush, Still try'n to get the feel of the boat, Leav'n Scapa Flow a J class DD came straight at me, it was the last thing he did, here is a pic of my Victory pass

Nice symmetry Glad your having fun also glad your dropping in for
feedback it helps. and thanks for it.

I have a fix for Career issue ready and will put it out
tommorow once I have put it through a second test
round.

Screenies always welcome with uber boat also wait till ya get your first convoy battle and all you can see is red broken ships thats one screenie worth taking and keeping so you can say that was me that was wooohooooo

No problem here
I also like this baby with normal loadouts. Sunk over 100k in first patrol. Annihilated 2 small convoys in BF15, kicked 3 planes out of the sky...
Tonight i´ll try it in second patrol. Sadly i´ve to dismiss many good crewmen...

Yeah Ive come to realize that as most kaleuns nurture there
crews Im probably going to drop those portions of uber that
deal with crew in the next version.
(well I might keep em better than any mission crew)

that one I forgot about lee, ill have a look at it.:hmm:

[edit] but as stated in my previous post its my intention to probably remove all
parts of uber dealing with crew, if I do do that then this issue will be resolved
automatically as a consequence.

the question is should I or should I not include Uber crew into Uberboot
or as a seperate mod or not at all. after answering that if included
then its skullwork time on this problem.

thinking it through still commentary is welcome.

Ubercrew: No more fun if you attach medals and badges on your crew´s proud swollen breast´s.... :rotfl:Music is playing the heroes march...
No more "Ritterkreuz-Party´s"...

I like building up the crew step by step. A seperate mod should do it better...and this war badge thing is also solved this way
