Default radar mast, sonar and main pump destroyed

Hello

This often happens with the type IXD2 boat, if the S-Gerät is installed then, after having saved the game, the sonar is destroyed. With the type XXI the main pump is reported destroyed imediately when the game is started, also if I chose to have the type 391 radar that was specially made for the type XXI then the radar is reported destroyed. Is this some kind of graphic bug? And is there any way to correct it?

Those are one of the most famous "Stock Bugs"

Yeah I'm using mods, currently NYGM 2.3.

@Myxale:

:hmm: So it's a stuck bug eh? Well...that means that it cannot be corrected? What I haven't figured out yet is if the radar, sonar and main pump actually works even though they are reported destroyed. It's difficult to test with the sonar and radar since they are miserable already even when not reported destroyed

The Sonar destroyed at the start is a well known Stock Bug! Had it plently of time myself. The thing is labeled as destroyed but works anyway!

However, I have only heard about the Pumps Bug once! Never encountered it myself!:hmm:
I don't know for sure if those "Bugs" had somehow been fixed or adressed by the master Modders. A good time now I sail mostly Type IID or and IXB Boot's, so that i haven't encountered the Bug in a long time now!
Maybe our Modders here can pipe in!

If you read the documentation that came with NYGM it should tell you the XXI is unusable now
They used the XXI pumps for other boats for the negative bouyancy

FYI those bugs can be corrected and have in GWX
Not that it will help you even if the sonar\radar fixes could be added to NYGM as the XXI has no pumps

I did read the NYGM documentation, but I must admit that I did not notice any such information about the XXI being unusable :hmm: strange....it has worked in the few missions I have tried with it. Well okay, thanks for replying.

That's okay, no appologies needed. I went through the manual again and it doesn't say anything about it so, glad that my eyes are working at least! Damn, I was so looking forward to take the XXI on patrol..... if it wasn't due to my computer problems, so annoying, I spend more time tweaking and fixing than I do playing the bloody game
