Just a question:
Is it possible to change the 3 dials into small windows [no bigger than those search windows u see on sites] where we type in the orders? Like we wanna go 50 feet we click on the window and type in 50feet or just, 50
For course we do the same 360 etc., and the same with depth.

Sort of like a text base.

Okay here's my dilemma.

One night I'm trying to install this mod and having trouble because of my own impatience. I really wish FLB had included the original block numbers in his readme so it would be just a matter of copy and paste. But hey, he did enough work on this mod. Why should he spend so much time renumbering when we're perfectly capable of doing it ourselves?

Well, SOME of us. For some reason I just couldn't get it right. My solution? Install the slideout mod HE had used, pasting the block numbers from that file, then pasting FLB's block numbers right behind it. Get two mods for the price of one AND have other people do all the numbering.

Well, problem is I don't really like the slideout mod. Makes the sides a little TOO cluttered for, and gets in the way of some things when scrolling in the map menu and using the recog-manual.

My question: what lines do I need to deactivate (using the ; symbol) in the original slideout mod's blocks to take it away from view? Or is this even possible?

Thanks all.

MQ

Edit: I tried deactivating all the lines from the slideout mod (aside from the block numbers themselves) but that didn't work --- got error messages when starting the program.

This mod looks brilliant

Is there anywhere else though I can get it though except RS? For some reason I can never download stuff from there - I just get a 'download invalid' message, even though I'm not using AOL or a proxy server

Hi!

For those who have that Problem with the Old visible console with high Res Mod.

I have made this mod with my normal 1024x768 solution, so i cannot tell you how it works on high Res Mod.
Maybe it is not compatible with the HighRes Mod.....

Try this:
Because i don`t know that Mod and so i just can try it on this way...

Find that Block:

[G3F I34]
Name=Group feedback
Type=1026;Menu group
ItemID=0x3F010000
ParentID=0x3F000000
;Pos=290,131,330,130
Color=0xFFFFFFFF
VertSlide=-141

and change the Pos line and VertSlide line into this:

;Pos=290,-200,330,130
Color=0xFFFFFFFF
VertSlide=-500

Try it out, maybe it can help.....

Feedback please.

Any hope this mod will be hosted anywhere other than Rapidshare? (like u-boot.realsimulation.com) for example? I seem to have problems with RS

Ok, nice that we could fix that Problem

If anybody could upload it anywhere else with the Update, it would be great.

I still have problems with the mod, no matter what resolution is it.

The new dials works but I get the new slideout console and officers console glitches. I get black transparent bars where it shouldn't and
the transparent dark bars on the new console is not stretched to full lenght.

I checked if I skipped a sequence and I found no skips :/

heres a screeny of the bugs I get.

The slider is way too the left, the transparent BG on the message is not long enough to contain the messages and the top darker small rectangular block is always on.

I'm trying to edit the file myself but my knoledge on menu file is limited :/

Yes it can, that's what I did. Takes a little time though.
