I've just added functionality so that if SH3Cmdr finds SH3Weather in your SH3 folder, it will automatically run it as the *last* thing it does prior to loading SH3. You'll still need to manually enter the date and Flotilla - although I pass the information to SH3Weather, it needs Skweetis to modify his programme to recognise and use it.
I was on the fence about adding this feature, but SH3Weather seems to have had a bit of a resurgence lately (and frankly, I'm too lazy to reinvent the wheel and add random weather directly into SH3Cmdr). Anyway, if you don't run SH3Weather, you won't notice a difference. If you do, you just won't need to manually run it in addition to SH3Cmdr anymore. |

Jaesen, that's just too cool!
My own experience has changed slightly. Just before I got to my grid (AN57, off the British coast) the weather turned bad and has remained so for four days. On the other hand, that's only four days, not four weeks, so I still have my hopes up. I just get nervous, that's all. |

This mod is the bee;s knee;s maties........I started a new career, and on my first patrol going out I had calm sea's with clear skies and winds of 2-3 knts, as I rounded the top of scarpa flow the weather took a turn for the worse, winds increased to 7 knts with a light rain , and light fog. As I neared my destination of AM23, the weather changed again(slight stutter on the comp) went to the bridge to see a beautiful morning. Winds of 4 knots slightly overcast. anyways had a good patrol sinking three merchants of various sizes around my patrol zone. With fuel and torps low I decided to head back home.......Got into the North sea and Bam weather exploded into a force ten gale....Winds 9knots, heavy rain and heavy fog(running shcmdr wave app at 1.23) to we are rolling !!!!, for a whole day it remained the same, until the weather broke and I saw calm weather for about half a day. As I rounded the top of the straight into Wilhelmshaven....OMG the weather changed again.......Winds howling from the north 9 knots heavy rain and heavy fog, as I like to "park" my boat at the dock, this proved quite daunting without "Gods eye"
So to Sweetis a Bloody Big Thumbs up for an excellent Mod... ![]() ![]() ![]() Deep Six
