SH3Gen is a brilliant add-on that really adds to the immersion of the game,I love it along with SH3Cmdr its one of the cherry's that sits atop the SH3/GWX cake

Hi everybody.

I'm Sh3Gen new user. It is explained the use of the "erase all" button on the map screen will erase all the sh3Gen data if clicked.
Don't you know a way to disable that button in the interface in order I couldn't click on it because I'm using this button frequently.

Thanx 4 the answers.

I am not qualified right now to answer your question, but it has to be done in menu1024.ini I am sure.

There are many people at subsim who have the information you seek. Maybe you should contact someone who does menu mods. Latemail posted a thread today where he also mentioned removal of the "erase all" button:

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=129172

Thanks to all others for the thumbs up. I still hope to be able to finish the stand alone GWX 2.0 shapefiles which I have mentioned before. They would be the same maps generated by Tracking Room, one for each month of the war, but useable by anyone without Sh3Gen.

A handy option for those without GE

The only problem is they would have to be updated with every new version of GWX .. which probably means I also have to release a new Sh3Gen version that allows setting the time period directly ...

What I have now is a half finished version that allows you to select a date. The Generator will then create a GIS map for that time period but not do anything to a savegame. You only get a map, but you can use the tool completely undependent of SHIII.

First time I've properly looked at this, and it sounds great!

GE, I have a question: does SH3Gen take account of the "Number of Days Spent in Base" setting?

Edit: nm, I started reading the documentation.

Sounds good

This is a great idea. I love the way it actually puts things on my in-game map!

However, I'm a bit concerned about the number of icebergs that German Intelligence believe to be off the coast of Spain. :hmm:

I'm currently trying to install yuor programme, seems that I was so stupid not doing it before.

Side note: In order to download "TatukGIS Viewer" one has to register on the site, so this programme should not be called 'free', as actually it's demanded you 'pay' for it by registration (that is in fact a kind of payment).
