Yeah, the REQ was for Balao (as in this matter I don't care about the historical rightness).

Once again, 1000 thanks to Captain Cox! Specially when it was sort of a personal request! You do wonders, man!

EDIT! WOW...I wonder...this was a GATO BOAT was it NOT!...I think the request was for a BALAO... Just to get our historical facts straight.

Just change all Balao for Gato and this skin will also work for Gato.
The skins are pretty much the same.

He means that if in all of the file names and all of the folder names you replace Blalao with Gato, then it'll work for Gato too The skins are the same, the only difference is the folder/file names

When i tried to change all the Balao for GATO on the file and folder names to get this high res to work on the gato it completely hosed the conning tower.

any ideas?

love the redfin skin but id rather apply the high res skin to the gato!

try using only the texture T01 and T02 files.. and leave out the O01 O02 files.
I think the "O" files are the problem.

and which original foo skin? the gato high res skin you did?

I just edited my last post

With "O" files I mean the O02.dds files.

The part about the original Foo skin I already deleted. That does not work.
If you want I can make the O02.dds file for Redskin Gato this evening.

I took the O01.dds O02.dds O03.dds O04.dds tower files from your high res gato v1.0 (most current i think) and over wrote them into the Tnormal\tex folder and it looks like it did the trick!!

it looks great!

im not sure if that was the correct way to do it or not. if you REL one the correct way i'll be sure to snap it up!

okay i tried it this way as well, i just renamed the files balao to gato, then erased the O01 and O02.dds files, and it looks the same as when i overwrote the files above!

Wow.. that looks sharp

I think using the Gato dds files is the best solution.
The latest released Gato is 99% identical to the Balao skin.

Using the original O01.dds files can give some problems when the sun shines on the boat.
