Hello Iambecomelife,
thanks for the links, there is so much hearsay that it is good to see some real evidence. And while in one link the sinking was 1944, the other already happened in 1940. Hmm for what i have read most commanders would have refrained from sinking a ship executing a rescue, but certainly not all.
What i meant is that at a temperature of the atlantic, in any other than summer conditions, swimming survivors would be dead by hypothermia before they could be rescued - speaking of minutes here - even if there were rescue ships.
Greetings,
Catfish

Agreed. I don't consider it to be an atrocity or anything; they were legitimate targets unless they were displaying Red Cross or other protected insignia.

Agreed.
@Dowly, SSteve,

The motive that I didn´t put they there is about that bad floating behaviour problem...they don´t looks well...but isnt a close matter obviously.

That is very true....and my source is my father who witnessed such terrible events.

The animated men dat file is only 966 KB in size at the moment.
That's 4 animated men and 4 skins.
Impact on system resources seems negligable and I
run on a Notebook that is not top of the line.

Thunder is reviewing the animated characters now in game.
Should he feel he could tweak them a bit?
I'm all for it.

Although I have not built the files yet,
I'm positive I can get the guys in the boats
to turn in your direction as they wave.

Seems there is a character like that in GWX 2.X

But you have to find him!!

Wonderful Privateer and Thunder.
Like I said me and PT are already working on adjusting all the ship .val files to spawn LBs a bit before ships sinks. The implementation of all this together is already guaranteed. Will be easy as cake to have also the animations on the end. So, go ahead and make your best on the animations!
