I'm using SAS, but my watch crew is able to detect airplanes in one minute they are really appeared when viewing threw binoculars on the reported bearing, when it is cloudy also

Hi TDW , how are you today . What i would like to ask is , could you have a look at the humming bird effect of the subs . This is a major annoyance i have with the game now . It would be great if i have to be doing 1 knots in order to stop sinking . cheers .

iam not shure, but ithink they could fine trim the sub until they reached a dept where the "ballast trim pumps" (did they had such pumps?) couldt take it anymore against the pressure... and using compressed air then would have waste to much of it, resulting in a very inacurate ballast loss regarding the needed trim.

Hi, and thank you very much for this mod! I just encountered a big convoy for the first time since installing your "Magnum Opus"-modpack, and the destroyer AI is really something else than I'm used to from vSH5, creating some REAL intense moments!
Would just like to ask the vets of this mod (as well as TDW himself?) for soem general "guidelines" for a noob like me... In vanilla I could often evade the DDs by just going real deep (150 m or deeper) and just stay quiet down there... This definately won't work anymore, which I like since it was just to easy. But what am I supposed to do instead? Seems like they find me no matter how quiet I stay or how deep I go. I suppose I should just flank-speed away from the place where I shot the torps from even before torpedo-impact. But IF and WHEN they find me, what is there I can do to avoid and confuse them? ![]() |

Welcome to the forums! I've been running into the same issues. Basically once a DD is near me, that career is over. I've been unable to shake them once I've been detected, even from impossible to detect situations.
Last night I ran across a Task Force. I simply sunk to 180m and walked away from the PC. heh |
